From the Eagles Nest………. Part 7

-           Uncle Zoki has a dream involving a baseball bat, black Diesel sunglasses and a copy of the Chinese blockbuster ‘The Art of War’. APWE ground announcer and co holder of the only Wolves jersey with Stuart Petries signature on it Andrew Byron has a dream too, only this one involves introducing some razzle dazzle to APWE match days in the form a large Eagle mascot. Until Saturday, we thought that AB’s dream was perhaps even more ridiculous than ours however as pointed out by the ground announcer during APWE Reserve Grade’s dismal performance there were many contenders to land the dream job. After missing a hatful of open goals Douglas ‘sign here’ Burazor will definitely be the front-runner.

-           Ex-Altrincham FC trialist Arthur Diles will be able to try the delicacies of the APWE canteen for another 5 weeks after breaking a bone in his foot during training.

-           Eagle young gun Daniel Capetta has continued his run of bizarre goal scoring after denying ex-Eagle Alan Constable his hat-trick with a nifty header in the top corner of his

own goal.

-           Dusan Klisic’s overseas trip has paid dividends with the young stud earning a weeks trial with newly promoted Serbian outfit Jagodina FC.
